Getting it onto the device

If the photo is already on your phone, you do not need this page: open Apps › Wallpapers on the device, tap + Add a wallpaper, and scan the code. Your phone crops and dithers the picture and sends it over, so both have to be on the same Wi-Fi and nothing leaves your network. This page is the same job from a computer, and it hands you the .bmp to keep.

Download the wallpaper above. It is a small .bmp sized to the screen.
On the device, open File Transfer from the home screen and follow it to the address it shows in your browser. (Or plug the device in over USB.)
Copy the .bmp into the wallpapers folder on the card. The device makes that folder the first time you open the Wallpapers app.
Open Apps › Wallpapers on the device, tap your wallpaper, and it becomes the sleep screen.
